Emergency roadwork on MD 45 North/South in Cockeysville between Padonia Road and Highview Street has closed the northbound traffic lane at 5:49 a.m., on Tuesday, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The center turn lanes are bi-directional, DOT said.
There are reports that traffic lights are out on Monument Street from Erdman Avenue through Guilford Avenue as of 9:14 a.m.
Make travel plans today ahead to the impending winter storm. The Maryland Transit Authority said that motorists should consider driving to their holiday destinations today if possible. MdTA recommended traveling at off-peak hours to avid delays.
The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 9 a.m. that trains, buses and mobility vehicles were running on schedule.
