Traffic: Fog reducing visibility, caution urged

Get your traffic updates for Tuesday

Fog has reduced driving visibility in some parts of the Baltimore region Tuesday morning and transportation officials are urging caution.

No road closures due to crashes were reported as of 8:30 a.m.

MD 170 East prior to St. Charles Road is closed in both directions for emergency roadwork in Anne Arundel County. Emergency roadwork has also closed two westbound lanes and the shoulder of MD 710 East at Blades Lane in Anne Arundel.

Due to a switch failure southbound MARC trains will board passengers from the Main Line track instead of the usual side. The Main Line track is inaccessible by wheelchair and passengers using wheelchairs are asked to use the Muirkirk station.

Ticket machines at the Edgewood and Halethorpe MARC stations are out of service, and a technician has been notified. One way and round trip tickets may be purchased on the train without penalty.
