Traffic: Accident reported on northbound I-95 in city

As of 9:10 a.m., the Maryland Department of Transportation was reporting an accident in Baltimore on northbound I-95 just past Washington Boulevard. The incident involved three vehicles, but was off to the far right shoulder, according to MDOT reports.

Elsewhere, the rush hour was winding down without significant issues. MDOT cameras still showed some slow-going with heavy volumes on the west side, but earlier incidents and disabled vehicles had been cleared.

One lingering issue remained from emergency roadwork in the Hampstead area of Carroll County, which had both westbound lanes of MD 88 closed in the area of Lower Beckleysville Road east of Route 30.

The Maryland Transit Administration reports that trains, buses and mobility vehicles are running on schedule.
