An overnight single-vehicle accident in Joppa, which left three people hospitalized, has shut down a portion of Route 7 (Philadelphia Road).
As of 9:15 a.m., the road remains closed between Bulls Lane and Joppa Farm Road as Maryland State Police continue their investigation of the crash, according to a Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company report.
One of two southbound shoulders of MD 295 South at Fort Meade Road in Laurel was also closed after an early morning collision between two vehicles, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration. Another collision on the inner loop of Interstate 695 in Baltimore County at Interstate 70 had shut down one of the two loops.
Both roads are now open.
Route 10 northbound at Route 100 was also closed briefly following an accident with injury, Anne Arundel Police said. Traffic was clear as of 8:39 a.m.
State highway officials are also reporting debris in the roadway on the I-695 outer loop near Frederick Road.
