After a challenging morning — particularly on the south and west sides of the beltway — traffic appears to be clearing out as of 9:15 a.m. around Baltimore. Maryland Department of Transportation cameras show that things are moving freely in most areas.
However, state transportation officials are warning commuters that the I-695 drawbridge at Curtis Creek is scheduled to open today at 2 p.m. for U.S. Coast Guard traffic. Expect delays in that area this afternoon.
