As of 9:10 a.m. Friday morning, the Maryland Department of Transportation is reporting that things appear to be easing up after a few incidents this morning. A single-vehicle accident on northbound I-95 near Caton Avenue was blocking a travel lane, but now is clear.
Also cleared is the accident on westbound Route 100 west at I-97 in Anne Arundel County. And traffic cameras show smooth traffic flow in the area of the inner loop of the Beltway at Wilkens Avenue, where an earlier incident had affected the right off-ramp lane and the far right shoulder.
Farther south, on Route 198 in the Burtonsville area of Montgomery County, a two-car accident at Santini Road still has lanes blocked in both directions as of 9:10 a.m.
Meanwhile, the Maryland Transit Administration report that buses and trains were running on schedule.
