Collisions were slowing the commute in the city and eastern and western Baltimore County on Thursday morning, the Maryland Department of Transportation reported.
A two-vehicle accident on I-95 northbound in the city, before the Caton Avenue exit, had closed one of two northbound shoulders shortly before 9 a.m., the agency said.
On the Baltimore Beltway in the county, one of two inner loop shoulders was closed at Edmondson Avenue by a two-vehicle accident reported shortly after 8 a.m. On I-795, one of two southbound shoulders was closed in a two-vehicle crash reported just north of the Baltimore Beltway after 8 a.m.
Earlier Thursday morning, a one-vehicle crash brought down a utility pole and wires and shut down both north and southbound lanes of Philadelphia Road Ravenwood Road, the agency said.
