Traffic: Collision closes all roads on MD 194 in Frederick Co.

All roads are closed on MD 194 in Frederick County due to a two-vehicle collision between Glade Road and MD 550 at 8:34 a.m., on Tuesday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

On the morning after Monday's flash flooding, several incidents prompted lengthy road closures in the Baltimore area, including a utility problem on MD 408 in Anne Arundel County that kept lanes closed in both directions at Boones Drive more than three hours after the initial shut down at 5:53 a.m., according to DOT.

In Baltimore County, emergency roadwork kept all eastbound traffic on MD 7 East at Hospital Drive closed more than two hours aft its 6:48 a.m., shutdown, DOT said. Traffic on both the westbound lane and shoulder is moving in both directions, DOT said. The Baltimore City Department of Transportation reported at 9 a.m., that an earlier crash on the Jones Falls Expressway that closed two lanes had been cleared.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported minor delays on the light rail at 9:12 a.m.
