Traffic: Accident on I-95 south at Baltimore Beltway

As of 9 a.m. Friday, traffic was slow on I-95 southbound at the Baltimore Beltway, due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic on I-70 westbound near Route 29 in Howard County, Northern Parkway and Charles Street in Baltimore City, Greenwood Avenue and 31st Street in Baltimore City, Belair Road and Madeline Avenue in Baltimore County and Route 144 at I-70 in Frederick County.

Emergency roadwork was blocking traffic on U.S. 1 northbound near Madeline Avenue in Baltimore County.

There were no major delays reported on Baltimore area transit systems.
