As of 2:00 p.m., all but one lane of westbound I-695, the inner loop of the Baltimore Beltway, was closed prior to Exit 16, for I-70, due to a single vehicle accident involving three vehicles.
The shoulder of the outer loop is also closed because of the crash and eastbound lanes are slow.
Otherwise, there are no accidents reported on major Baltimore area highways.
