As of 9:15 a.m. the Maryland Department of Transportation was reporting that an accident on southbound I-795 at the Beltway had been cleared.
Two more incidents remained toward the end of rush hour — in Howard County, there was a report of a disabled vehicle in the roadway on westbound Route 32 at I-95 that closed a merge lane; and on the southbound lanes Beltway past Route 2 in Anne Arundel County, an incident involving a single car closed one lane and the shoulder.
The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 9:15 a.m. that bus stops, light rail and MARC trains were running on time. However, the MTA noted that on Monday and Tuesday, the Pratt Street at Washington Street (eastbound) bus stop is temporarily discontinued due to construction.
In other advisories, the Curtis Creek drawbridge on I-695 is scheduled for openings today at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for U.S. Coast Guard water traffic. In addition, one lane of the westbound Bay Bridge may be closed Monday through Thursday this week, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.
And in Annapolis, police were reporting that there may be some traffic disruptions in the area of Green Street and Church Circle for sewer cleaning and repairs on Monday and Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
