Six Flags America near Upper Marlboro was evacuated Saturday afternoon after someone called in a threat, Prince George's County Police say.
The park closed several hours early "out of an abundance of caution" after the threat was called in about 1:30 p.m., police reported on Twitter. Neither police nor the park specified what kind of threat.
Nothing suspicious was found after a security sweep.
The park is set to be open during its normally scheduled hours on Sunday, Six Flags spokeswoman Debbie Evans said.
People who were evacuated Saturday can get complimentary tickets to return to the park another day during the 2016 season, she said. The season ends Jan. 2, 2017.
