Court dates for former Ravens cheerleader Molly Shattuck's rape case have been set for late June, Delaware officials said Wednesday.
Shattuck, who is accused of having a relationship with a 15-year-old classmate of her son, is now scheduled to appear in court for a final pretrial hearing on June 17 before going on trial June 22, the Delaware Department of Justice said. She had a previous trial date of March 23.
Under the Delaware system, the June 17 hearing is a final chance for lawyers to strike a plea agreement in the case. If they can't, the case heads to trial.
A grand jury indicted Shattuck on nine counts, including various sex offense charges. Shattuck is accused of flirting with the boy through Instagram and making out with him in parking lots, according to court documents. She eventually invited the boy to Bethany Beach and performed oral sex on him in a rental property, prosecutors allege.
Shattuck's lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment.
