Baltimore area road closures and work

Baltimore City

• Road closure: Westbound Lombard Street between Greene and Penn streets, until to 8 p.m. Sunday, for a crane lift operation. Detours will be in effect.

• Lane closures: Starting Monday, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., lane closures along Pratt Street from Sharp to Light streets, for resurfacing. Use Baltimore Street as an alternative.

Baltimore County

• Lane closures: From Sunday to Thursday nights, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., lanes of York and Joppa roads will be closed for reconfiguration of the Towson roundabout. Dulaney Valley Road, Fairmount Avenue and Goucher Boulevard are alternatives

• Lane closures: on north- and southbound I-795 at Cockeys Mill Road from Monday to Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., for patching of the I-795 bridge approach.

• Lane closures: Temporary lane closures on North Point Boulevard for pavement repair on Sunday night between Merritt Boulevard and Cove Road.

Bridge closed: Cuba Road Bridge until Sept. 2 for refurbishment. Traffic detoured to Miller Road, Falls Road and Western Run Road.

Howard County

Road painting: Various locations until mid-October. Motorists urged to avoid wet paint and watch out for road painting crews on county-maintained roads.

Harford County

> Gate closed: Aberdeen Proving Grounds — Edgewood Area has closed its gate at the end of MD 24 (Emmorton Road) until about Aug. 22 for construction work at the gate. Traffic on MD 24 is being diverted to the Magnolia Gate at the end of MD 152 (Magnolia Road).

Road closed: Ruff's Mill Road from U.S. 1 to Thomas Run Road until early December for bridge reconstruction.

Carroll County

: Bridge closed: Mumma Ford Road bridge undergoing rehabilitation. Traffic detour in effect.
