LOYSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a Maryland man and about 100 pigs have died after two tractor-trailers crashed in Pennsylvania.

State police say the tractor-trailers collided on state Route 850 Friday afternoon in Northeast Madison Township, about 30 miles west of Harrisburg.

The Perry County Coroner's office has identified the man killed in the crash as 67-year-old George Elser of Hancock, Maryland.

Police didn't say what Elser was hauling. Investigators say it's unclear if Elser was wearing a seatbelt.

Police are investigating.
