Crews have rescued a woman they began searching for Sunday night after she fell overboard at the mouth of the Sassafras River, police said.
The woman fell overboard about 8 p.m. Police and firefighters, including a State Police helicopter, were searching for the woman. Police said she was not wearing a life jacket.
Around 7:15 a.m. Monday, Maryland Natural Resources Police tweeted that the woman had been "found alive."
