Non-fatal shooting follows attempted robbery in city

Baltimore police believe an attempted robbery in Frankford left a 23-year-old man the victim of a non-fatal shooting Monday.

Officers responded around 3:40 a.m. to the 4900 block of Shaub Avenue, where they found a man with gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was is in stable condition at an area hospital.

Police said the victim told them he was walking down an alley when a light-skinned man approached and demanded property. The suspect shot the victim with an unknown caliber gun when the victim attempted to run, police said.
