A University of Maryland student missing since Thursday evening was found Wednesday, university police said.
Police said Kaitlyn George, 21, was found alone and safe "at a fast food restaurant in Houston, Texas." University of Maryland Police got a call shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday from Houston police that she had been located safely.
Police said Tuesday night George was filmed by a security camera boarding a bus in Baltimore that was traveling to Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
Officers have no reason to suspect she is the victim of a crime, police said.
The bus she boarded on Friday was scheduled to stop in Washington, D.C., Richmond and Hampton before Norfolk.
A friend reported George missing after she failed to show up at the Eppley Recreation Center on the school's College Park campus for a hiking trip, police said.
Anyone with information may call university police at 301-405-3555.
