Joint Base Andrews airman killed in Afghanistan

An Air Force member who was assigned to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland has died in Afghanistan, the Defense Department announced Monday.

Airman 1st Class Jerome D. Miller Jr., 23, of Washington, died Oct. 13 in a non-combat-related incident in Parwan province, the Defense Department said. Miller was assigned to the 459th Security Forces Squadron at Joint Base Andrews in Prince George's County.
