HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — Police in Hagerstown say they expect more charges to be brought against a homeless man following the death of a man he's accused of assaulting.
Thirty-year-old Marvin House was being held without bond Tuesday on first- and second-degree assault charges. The charges stem from a fight among three men Saturday night near railroad tracks owned by CSX Corporation.
Police say 63-year-old Jan Hammond died Sunday. They say all three had been drinking together when House assaulted the other two.
Court records do not list a defense attorney for House.
Police say they believe all three men are homeless.
