Two teens charged in theft of Girl Scouts' cookies

Anne Arundel County police say two male teens were arrested Saturday for stealing a wagon filled with Girl Scout cookies in Severn.

Police said that at about 1:20 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to the 7900 block of Jason's Landing Way for a report of theft, and were told that two Girl Scouts, ages 12 and 13, had been selling cookies from a wagon at the location. They stepped away, then looked around to see a male teen taking the wagon toward a vehicle down the street. One of the scouts chased after suspect. The teen jumped into a vehicle being driven by another teen, and they drove off.
