State police are investigating a Thursday night shooting in Frederick County.
Police said a 42-year-old man was shot behind a retail store in the 8000 block of Woodsboro Pike in Walkersville. A witness called 911 at 9:30 p.m. The victim was taken by medevac to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
