Freddie Gray's funeral, burial set for Monday morning

Funeral arrangements have been set for Freddie Gray, the Baltimore man who died April 19 from a spinal injury suffered while in police custody.

Gray's family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Vaughn Greene Funeral Home at 4905 York Road in North Baltimore.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at New Shiloh Baptist Church, 2100 N. Monroe St. in West Baltimore. The family will hold a visitation at the church before services, starting at 10 a.m.

The Rev. Jamal H. Bryant of Empowerment Temple AME Church will deliver the eulogy. The Rev. Harold Carter Jr., pastor of New Shiloh Baptist, will preside over the services.

Gray's body will be buried immediately after the services in Woodlawn Cemetery, 2130 Woodlawn Dr. in Woodlawn.
