A 23-year-old man, who police said was riding a stolen dirt bike, died Saturday after crashing into the back of a minivan, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of E. Preston Street and N. Ellwood Avenue in East Baltimore, police said. The dirt bike driver, who police said did not have a valid license, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 28-year-old man driving of the minivan, who was in the process of parking, was not hurt, said police spokesman Donny Moses.
Police said they do not believe alcohol was a factor. The crash team, which investigates all fatal accidents, is investigating, Moses said.
