The southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Baltimore have reopened after a fatal motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon brought rush hour traffic to a standstill, officials said.
The crash happened at about 4:15 p.m. near the O'Donnell Street exit, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority. Lanes were reopened by about 7 p.m.
No further details were released, including the cause and the identity of the victim.
Traffic on the interstate was at a standstill around rush hour, and highway officials suggested drivers take interstates 695 or 895.
