A woman was shot and killed Sunday afternoon in East Baltimore, city police said.
Police identified the victim Monday as 24-year-old Jaleesa Brooks. Police said she was shot about 2:30 p.m. near her home in the 5000 block of Raintree Way in the city's Parkside section. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she died about an hour later.
