Object breaks window of Amtrak train in Baltimore

An object hit and broke the window of an Amtrak Acela train as the train moved south through Baltimore Sunday night, officials said.

Train No. 2225 was carrying 225 passengers and approaching Baltimore's Pennsylvania Station at about 8 p.m. when the incident happened, Amtrak spokeswoman Kimberly Wood said.

Amtrak is investigating what the object was that hit the window, Wood said.

No passengers or crew were injured, and the crew made all its remaining scheduled stops, Wood said.
