Charges are pending against a man who ran over his wife with an SUV after the two got into an argument, the Charles County Sheriff's Office said.
Police said Jennifer Lynn Weyhenmeyer, 36, of Waldorf, was found dead behind a Crain Highway shopping center at about 7:45 p.m. Sunday. Investigators said she had been involved in an argument with her husband moments before she was found.
Officers found her husband at their Waldorf home and he was taken to a hospital for an evaluation after telling officers of a medical issue, police said.
As of Tuesday morning, he was still at the hospital, a police spokeswoman said. Police have recovered a Ford Edge from the home to collect evidence.
