The ramps carrying Caton Avenue traffic onto northbound Interstate 95 south of Baltimore's downtown will be closed this weekend for repair work, the Maryland Transportation Authority said Tuesday.
The closures will affect both eastbound and westbound Caton Avenue traffic, and last from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, weather permitting, the MdTA said.
The closures are part of an ongoing two-year, $66 million project to repair and replace decking and joints along I-95 and the ramps that serve it in the Baltimore area.
Eastbound Caton Avenue traffic will be detoured to Washington Boulevard, to the inner loop of Interstate 695, and then on to northbound I-95.
Westbound Caton Avenue traffic will also be detoured via Washington Boulevard and the inner loop of I-695, or via southbound I-95, the inner loop of I-695, Wilkens Avenue, the outer loop of I-695 and on to northbound I-95.
