D.C. police make arrest in fatal shooting of cabbie

Police in Washington have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a cab driver from Maryland.

Police say 20-year-old Rashad Slye was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of the cabbie, 40-year-old Domingo Ezirike.

Ezirike was found unresponsive in his cab around 4 a.m. Saturday near Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens park. The cab was from Prince George's County.

WTTG-TV reports that investigators believe robbery was the motive.
