Five malnourished pit bulls seized in Pasadena, one found dead

Anne Arundel County police said they found one dead pit bill that was frozen to the ground along with five malnourished pit bulls in the woods in Pasadena Friday morning.

The Anne Arundel County Police Gang Unit used a search warrant to inspect the property in the 7800 block of Freetown Road early in the morning, finding the dogs tethered and chained to posts in the woods. The dogs, which ranged in age from 10 months to about 4 years, had no food or water, police said. The dogs had shelters but they were not adequate to protect them from the elements.
