The Coast Guard and Anne Arundel County authorities are searching for a 20-year-old man after he reportedly fell off the Franklin Manor Pier near Churchton.
A Coast Guard crew from Annapolis, two county fire and rescue boat crews, and a county dive team have responded to the scene, Coast Guard officials said.
Around 3:40 p.m., a member of county fire and rescue reported that a man had fallen off the pier into the water and did not resurface, they said.
