2-year-old boy critically wounded by stray bullet

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police say a two-year-old boy was shot and critically wounded while playing outside an apartment complex in Landover.

Police say the toddler was hit by a stray bullet around 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Bright Seat Road. There were no other injuries. Police have not identified any suspects, and the shooting remains under investigation.

The boy was in critical condition when he was hospitalized.
