The ramps carrying northbound and southbound Interstate 95 traffic onto the Interstate 695 inner loop south of Baltimore were closed for several hours after a tractor trailer overturned on the southbound ramp, according to the State Highway Administration.
The ramp from northbound I-95 to 1-695 reopened about 5 p.m., said Kellie Boulware, a SHA spokeswoman. One of the two southbound lanes remained closed about 5:30 p.m. and should re-open about 6:30, she added.
The tractor trailer overturned on the ramp between southbound I-95 and the I-695 westbound inner loop about 12:45 p.m., Boulware said. The truck was "fully-loaded" with trash bags, and a hazardous materials unit was on scene, Boulware said.
The clean-up will involve crews unloading the tractor trailer so it can be brought upright, she said.
No injuries were reported, Boulware said.
