More than 400 national parks will waive their entrance fees on Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the National Park Foundation announced.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington is participating in the "Fee-Free Day." In honor of the civil rights leader, the foundation hopes visitors "can reflect on what freedom and equality mean to you."
Other sites in the area include the Baltimore National Heritage Area and the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. Locate a park near you at findyourpark.com.
