Two arrested in connection with Towson home invasion

Baltimore County police have arrested two Washington, D.C., men after a home invasion that occurred Sunday morning in Towson.

According to police reports on the department's iWatch blog, two men, one armed with a gun, entered an apartment in the 400 block of Campus View Drive just before 2 a.m. May 17. They demanded drugs and money from the man who answered when they knocked on the door. Two other men and a woman were in the home at the time.

The intruders took the man who answered the door into his bedroom and tied him up. Left alone, the victim was able to jump through the screen of an open second-story window and run for help, the reports stated.

According to police, the man was later taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.

The intruders took electronics and other personal items and were leaving the apartment when police arrived and arrested them.

According to police reports, David Thompson, 24, and Demencio Trevon Wilson, 20, of Washington, D.C., were arrested and charged with home invasion and related charges.

Police said they are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Thompson is being held without bail. Bail was set at $1 million for Thompson. Police said the investigation is continuing to determine if this was a targeted crime.
