A 26-year-old woman was stabbed in the 6300 block of York Road in south Towson Monday afternoon by a masked person, according to Baltimore County Police.
Three people in masks approached the female victim between 3:21 p.m. and 4:21 p.m. The group asked the woman if she had any cigarettes; when she said no she was stabbed in the arm, police said.
Nothing was stolen from the woman, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to police.
Another daytime stabbing occurred Sunday in the 900 block of Fairmount Avenue, according to police. Police responded to a home at 1:43 p.m., where they found a 65-year-old man with a stab wound to his torso, according to police spokesman Cpl. John Wachter.
An investigation indicated that the man was injured by a 50-year-old housemate during an argument, according to police.
Police arrested and charged Christopher James Cullen with first degree assault and related charges in connection with the incident. Cullen, who remained at the scene following the incident, was released on $100,000 bail, police said.
