On Friday, April 24, Notre Dame Preparatory School, 815 Hampton Lane, Towson, holds an electronics recycling event from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the lower level parking.
For a small fee, ranging from $2-$25 per item, old electronic equipment will be disposed of in an environmentally sound and secure way. Individuals can dispose of old electronic devices taking up needed space. In addition, individuals may shred old computer hard drives for secure disposal. Cash or checks payable to NDP will be accepted.
Items for recycling include: televisions (big box, console), computer monitors, CPUs, microwaves, laptops, fax machines, scanners, printers, telephones, cell phones, mouses, keyboards, hard drives, CDs, and floppies. Refrigerators and air conditioners are not accepted. Hard drive destruction is available for $5.
Founded in 1873, Notre Dame Prep is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for 781 girls in grades 6-12. The School Sisters of Notre Dame own and operate the school, which is dedicated to educating young women to transform the world.
