Traffic gridlock threatens quality of life in Towson [Letter]

We now have gridlock in Towson, especially in the vicinity of the Towson Circle. This, before Towson Square, Towson Row and 101 York Road come on line. How can we possibly drive through the center of town once all the associated traffic hits the roads?

It is doubtful that traffic will get any better. As a tax payer, a resident, an interested member of the community, I urge a serious consideration of the traffic implications from these developments. It may not be too late, although as a skeptic, I think that things are close to a done deal.

All the hard work of the last several years and the ability to attract more people to the county seat will be for naught if folks are forced to sit in unmoving traffic jams. I greatly fear for the quality of life in Towson.

I would love a response from Towson officials that involves more than a "we have heard your concerns" that would at least make me feel that I have not wasted my time writing.
