In the quest for a community-oriented development in Towson, the Towson Row proposed project was critiqued by residents for having little open space.
This may spur developers to render a design which incorporates more green space, such as parks and trees. Transportation issues also need to be addressed for this development, since parking is limited for housing and retail, and the location is near a busy intersection.
A vision of a segregated green walkway and bikeway which weaves through the property would enhance the overall attractiveness of the area. This would improve livability for Towson residents by addressing both the transportation and the open space debate.
