Two men were arrested following an assault on police officer in the 1700 block of East Joppa Road, at 7:10 p.m. on Dec. 16, according to police reports. Police reported the two men had pulled guns but then dropped them and fled and the guns were recovered. No further information was available.
Towson
Putty Hill Avenue, 1200 block, 9:05 p.m. Dec. 18. Four men stole case of diamonds, valued at $172,875, from Jared jewelry store.
Winsford Road, 1000 block, between 11 a.m. and noon Dec. 17. Swing set stolen from backyard.
Pennsylvania Avenue, 100 block, between 11 a.m. Dec. 11 and 10 a.m. Dec. 16. Attempt made to enter office of Calvary Baptist Church.
Virginia Avenue, 500 block, between midnight Nov. 15 and midnight Dec. 13. Cash, game system, sound system and jewelry stolen.
Lutherville
Collis Court, unit block, between 1:30 a.m. and 5:50 a.m. Dec. 15. Cash and other items stolen from two cars. Third vehicle, 2008 Honda Pilot, stolen after spare key found in center console.
Ballyhaunis Court, unit block, between 10:30 p.m. Dec. 14 and 7:20 a.m. Dec. 15. Items stolen from several unlocked cars. Key found in one car used to steal 2012 Dodge Journey.
Timonium
Quiet Stream Court, unit block, between 3 p.m. Dec. 11 and 8:20 a.m. Dec. 15. Vacant apartment broken into.
Cockeysville
Lemon Grove Court, unit block, 3:20 p.m. Dec. 17. Window broken by man attempting to enter apartment. Man fled when he was spotted by person.
Clubhouse Road, 300 block, between 5 p.m. Dec. 12 and 8 a.m. Dec. 15. Tools, lawn and garden equipment stolen from trailers in storage area of The Outdoor Advantage store.
