Armed man steals car in Towson as driver gets out [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

A police report states that as a woman was getting out of her car in the 6300 block of Sherwood Road at about 6 p.m., a man armed with a gun stole the car and fled. No futher information was available.

Deanwood Road, 1100 block, 4:41 p.m. Nov. 18. Stolen car recovered after crash. Two juveniles arrested

Falls Road, 6300 block, between 7 a.m. Nov. 15 and 10:08 a.m. Nov. 16. Heater and bathroom supplies stolen from The Mitre Box. Plywood covering rear door frame pried off to gain entry.

Murdock Road, 100 block, between 2 and 6 p.m. Nov. 18. Package stolen from front porch; it was later recovered.

Springway, 7900 block, between 8:40 a.m. and 5 p.m. Nov. 18. Rear sliding window inside screened porch forced open. TV, computer, credit card and other tems stolen. Second TV also damaged.

Loch Raven Boulevard, 8400 block, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 17. Break-in at apartment. Nothing reported stolen.

Lutherville

Aylesbury Road, unit block, 4:40 p.m. Nov. 18. Woman shoplifted items from Shop Rite and then assaulted loss prevention staff person. A woman was arrested and charged with robbery.

Timonium

Chadwick Road, 500 block, between 8:20 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Nov. 21. Attempt to break into house by prying door was unsuccessful.

Eastridge Road, 1800 block, between 10:45 a.m. and 12:18 p.m. Jewelry stolen. Back door pried open to gain entry.

Cockeysville

York Road, 9900 block, 11:40 p.m. Nov. 21. Pizza Hut robbed at knifepoint. No further information.

Williamson Lane, 10000 block, between noon Nov. 15 and 9:23 a.m. Nov. 17. Three backpack blowers stolen from Trimline Lawn and Property's equipment shed.

Warren Road, unit block, between 9:15 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. Nov. 17. Car stolen from parking lot of Warren Road light rail stop.
