Homeowner pushes intruder out of house in Lutherville [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

An unknown woman entered a home in the 200 block of Locknell Road in Lutherville at 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 4 but was seen by the homeowner, who then pushed the intruder out, police reports state. According to police, the homeowner confronted the intruder, who said she was selling books, and then shoved her out of the house. Nothing was stolen and there were no injuries, police report.

Towson

Clearwood Road, 1500 block, 2:57 p.m. Nov. 2. Attempt made to steal a bicycle. Bike was recovered.

Acorn Circle, unit block, between 11 a.m. Nov. 1 and 10 a.m. Nov. 7.  Two juveniles were seen entering a vacation unit at Courthouse Square Apartments. Trash and odor of marijuana left behind. No forced entry.

Piccadilly Road, 600 block, between midnight Oct. 24 and 6:23 p.m. Nov. 7. Bicycle discovered stolen from unlocked garage.

Acorn Circle, unit block, between 9 a.m. Oct. 15 and 6 p.m. Nov. 2. Bicycle reported stolen from apartment storage unit.

Lutherville

Arverne Court, unit block, 4:30 p.m. Nov. 4. A Lutherville man was arrested and charged with burglary after he was found hiding under dining room table. Attempt made to steal video game system, jewelry, money, sunglasses and can of ginger ale.

Cockeysville

Warren Road, 300 block, 2 a.m. Nov. 5. Homeowner awoke when he heard someone attempting to break into unlocked shed. Nothing stolen.

Beaver Dam Road, 10000 block, between midnight and 1:05 a.m. Nov. 1. Car stolen. No further information.

Duke of York Lane, 200 block, 1:07 a.m. Nov. 1. Two people were assaulted with pair of scissors. Front door also damaged. Juvenile arrested.

Timonium

Killadoon Court, unit block, between 7 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. Oct. 31. Jewelry, video game console and handgun stolen.
