Armed man robs woman in Towson parking lot [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

A man armed with a handgun robbed a woman in the Ravenwood Shopping Center parking lot in the 8000 block of Loch Raven Boulevard of cash, cellphone on Sept. 24 at 6:45 p.m., police reports state. The man also struck the woman in her face with the gun the reports state.

Towson

Midhurst Road and Blenheim Road, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 22. Man who got in woman's car was robbed by male passenger at gunpoint of cash and medication.

Overbrook Road, 500 block, between 9 p.m. Sept. 21 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 22. Unsuccessful attempt to gain entry into house through basement window.

Yakona Road, 1600 block, between 5 p.m. Sept. 19 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 22. Air compressor stolen from home. Property later returned.

Overbrook Road, 500 block, between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 21. Bike stolen from shed.

East Joppa Road and LaSalle Road, 1:30 p.m. Sept. 21. Two men robbed female pedestrian of cellphone and prescription pills.

Coventry Place, 600 block, between 8:30 a.m. Sept. 20 and 7:45 a.m. Sept. 21. Boat part, bicycle and tools stolen from garage. Entry gained through unlocked side door.

Loch Raven Boulevard, 6800 block, 12:30 p.m. Sept. 20. Man wearing jacket with "security" patches and implying he had a gun robbed M&T Bank.

East Joppa Road, 1500 block, between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sept. 20. Car stolen from Moe's Seafood parking lot.

West Susquehanna Avenue, 100 block, between 6 p.m. Sept. 18 and 8 p.m. Sept. 19. Car stolen from garage.

Overbrook Road, 900 block, between 10 p.m. Sept. 18 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 19. Game system, game stolen from house after basement window broken to gain entry.

Lutherville

Killadoon Court, unit block, between 11:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. Sept. 21.Intruder forced open front basement window of house adn stole computer and jewelry. Items later recovered a block away.

Harcroft Road, 2300 block, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sept. 23. Someone attempted to pry open front door of house.

Cockeysville

Wight Avenue, 100 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 27. Man threatened to kill police officer after he was arrested for disorderly conduct at McFaul's Iron Horse Tavern.

York Road, 11000 block, 12:20 a.m. Sept. 23. Two masked men armed with handguns entered Exxon station. After clerk fled, pair attempted unsuccessfully to open safe before fleeing.

Lemon Grove Court, unit block, 3:20 p.m. Sept. 19. Four men seen leaving vacant apartment where they had smashed rear sliding glass door.

Van Buren Lane, 9800 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 19. Juvenile who saw three other juveniles go into abandoned building owned by county threatened to call 911 if they didn't leave. The trio assaulted juvenile and left.

York Road, 10000 block, 4:08 p.m. Sept. 16. Two men attempted unsucessfully to pry open manager's office at Suburban Ace Hardware.
