The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

A man armed with a knife robbed a female cashier at Lowe's home improvement store in Cockeysville at about 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, a police report states. After getting the cash, the robber then fled in a Jaguar, the report said.



Stevenson Lane, 1100 block, between 10 p.m. Sept. 4 and 8 a.m. Sept. 5. Glass in back door of Country Club of Maryland bar and lounge broken. Trash and four large holes found in the turf on hole 14 of the golf course.

Dunkirk Road, 400 block, between 3 p.m. Sept. 6 and 8 a.m. Sept. 7. Little Tyke Cozy Coupe toy stolen from under backyard deck.

Castle Drive, 500 block, between midnight Sept. 5, and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7. Several pairs of tennis shoes stolen.

West Joppa Road, 600 block, between 10 a.m. Sept. 2 and 5 p.m. Sept. 5. Downspouts stolen from house.

Malvern Avenue, 1400 block, between 6:45 and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 4. Blue Raleigh Era mountain bike stolen from open garage.

Blenheim Road, 6300 block, between 8:52 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Sept. 2. Black and red men's Trek bicycle stolen.

Loch Raven Boulevard, 6800 block, 1:45 p.m. Sept. 2. Man armed with a semi-automatic weapon robbed M&T Bank and fled in a cab.

Malvern Avenue, 1100 block, between 7 a.m. Aug. 28, and 5 p.m. Aug. 29. Six copper downspouts stolen from house.

Joppa Road, 1600 block, at 12:15 a.m. Sept 13. Man implied he had a handgun and demanded cash from cashier at First Mariner Bank

York Road, 6300 block, at 6:05 a.m. Sept. 11. Man who witnessed street robbery in Petco parking lot by five assailants was nabbed by two of the assailants. Assailants punched him in the face, stole cash and then the five fled.


Oakway Road, unit block, 3:45 p.m. Sept 12. Break-in at residence. Two juveniles arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary.

York Road, 1700 block, between 5 p.m. Sept. 6 and 7 a.m. Sept. 8. Catalytic converters cut out of cars parked at a storage lot awaiting repairs.



Warren Manor Court, unit block, between 6 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 7. Two bicycles stolen from open garage.

Blue Bell Way, 10000 block, 6:35 p.m. Sept. 6. Four teen-aged boys were seen in the homeowner's carport. Sunglasses reported stolen.

Valley Ridge Loop, unit block, between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Sept. 3. Motorcycle stolen from front of house; later recovered nearby.

Greentop Road, 10000 block, between 5:30 and 8 p.m. Sept. 2. Four-wheeler stolen from shed.

Cinnamon Ridge Place, 800 block, 4 a.m. Sept. 1. Man returning home discovered someone inside his apartment. Door was blocked so that he could not enter. Money, clothing, TV, video gaming system and games and other items reported stolen.

Limestone Valley Drive, 300 block, between 6 p.m. Sept. 5 and 6 p.m. Sept. 7. Bike stolen from an apartment balcony.

Warren Manor Court, unit block, between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 7. Two bicycles stolen from open garage.


Harding Street and York Road, 1:10 a.m. Sept. 4. Woman stopped at intersection was assaulted and purse stolen. Man ran up to driver's side of car and slammed his body into vehicle. Driver opened car door to check on him; he punched her and pulled her out of car. He then reached into vehicle and stole purse. Purse later recovered without contents. Victim suffered facial bruising.

Kings Crossing Court, unit block, between 11:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Sept. 4. Back sliding glass door pried open. Nothing reported missing.
