Baltimore County Police have found an incident in which a man said he was assaulted and robbed by five people did not occur as the victim reported it, according to an update on the department's website.
Police said they are investigating an incident between two acquaintances, and charges are still possible.
Initially, police said a man was assaulted and had his wallet stolen at the intersection of Kenilworth Drive and West Road on April 4, according to a police report. The victim was approached by two people at 3:30 a.m. and demanded cash, and when the victim refused, five people assaulted the victim and stole his wallet, the report states.
Towson
Campus View Drive, 400 block, between 3:15 a.m. and 3:40 a.m. April 6. Person entered house by forcing open front door, stole jewery, other property.
Donington Circle, 1100 block, between 10 p.m. April 5 and 1 a.m. April 6. Person entered apartment through bedroom window, stole dietary supplements, jewelry box, photographs.
Donington Circle, 1000 block, between 3:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. April 4. Person entered apartment through window, stole two purses, bag containing personal items.
East Burke Avenue, 100 block, between 12:13 a.m. and 2:10 a.m. April 2. Person cut hole in plastic wall of greenhouse at Radebaugh Florist and Greenhouse, stole computer and printer from location.
Acorn Circle, unit block, between 4 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. March 31. Person threw rock through window and opened it. Person did not enter apartment, no items taken.
Lutherville
Gorsuch Road, 100 block, between 6 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. March 31. Person entered house through rear patio window, stole cash from three bedrooms.
East Padonia Road, unit block, at 2:42 p.m. March 29. Man entered SAS Comfort Shoes, pulled a handgun and stole money from register.
Timonium
York Road, 2100 block, at 4:40 p.m. April 1. Man armed with handgun entered Honeybaked Ham and stole money. Ronald Scott Baublitz, 42, of Bosley Lane in Reisterstown, arrested and charged with armed robbery and first-degree assault.
