Man abducted in Towson [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Providence Road, 700 block, 11:10 a.m. March 24. While man was at residence to rent room, two men in a van, one armed with a shotgun, ordered man into their van. While driving, the robbers stole cash from the man and then let him go at a nearby intersection.

Towson

West Lake Avenue,1000 block, between 9 a.m. March 1 and 4 p.m. April 1. Shed kicked open and painted with racist symbols.

Schwartz Avenue, 400 block, between 9 a.m. and 10:52 p.m. April 2. Police responded to burglar alarm and found rear window open. Unknown if anything was stolen.

Ellenham Avenue, 7800 block, between 9 a.m. March 9 and noon March 23. Copper downspouts stolen.

York Road, 6400 block, 3:10 p.m. March 27. Two men, one armed with a handgun, attempted to rob the Corner Mart. The clerk locked the cashier's booth which the two would-be robbers could not open. They fled when robbery was unsuccessful.

Donnybrook Lane, 200 block, between 9:05 p.m. March 26 and 12:30 a.m. March 27. An apartment was ransacked and a watch stolen after a window screen was cut to gain entry.

Robin Hood Circle, 1200 block, between noon March 20 and 9 a.m. March 23. Paint sprayer stolen from vacant residence undergoing remodeling.

Lake Falls Road, 1200 block, 1 a.m March 25. A woman was arrested and charged with burglary after a burglary detective recovered jewelry stolen from a house which had been ransacked.

Lutherville

Texas Station Court, unit block, 2:11 p.m. April 2. Lawn equipment stolen from Lowe's store.

West Timonium Road, unit block, between 7:30 p.m. March 30 and 5:40 a.m. March 31. Building door pried open. Five businesses inside broken into. Laptop stolen.

Timonium

York Road, 2100 block, 1:45 a.m. April 4. Cash stolen from safe at Qdoba restaurant.

Cockeysville

Pond View Lane, 500 block, between noon March 20 and 10:30 a.m. March 27. Someone broke into house. Nothing stolen or damaged but it appears intruder might have slept there.

Warren Road, 600 block, between 5:30 p.m. March 23 and 7:30 a.m. March 24. TV remotes stolen from Epworth United Methodist Church after window broken to gain entry.
