Tactical officer's van broken into, ammunition taken [Towson crime log]

Subway sandwich shop robbed by man who took money from register but did not show weapon.

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

900 block of Fairway Drive, Oct. 15 between midnight and 9:30 a.m. Ten-foot frame ladder stolen from backyard.

8600 block of Pleasant Plains Road, Nov. 15 at 5:50 a.m. 7-Eleven convenience store robbed at knifepoint.

6800 block of Queens Ferry Road, Nov. 14 at 6:45 a.m. Intoxicated man arrested after entering residence through bathroom window, falling asleep then vomiting and urinating on a sofa.

6700 block of North Charles Street, Nov. 13 at 3:45 p.m. Woman transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center after jumping from fourth floor of parking lot at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

1600 block of Joppa Road, Nov. 13 between 8:11 and 8:12 p.m. Subway sandwich shop robbed by man who took money from register but did not show weapon.


1900 Eastridge Road, between Nov. 9 and 11:30 p.m. and Nov. 10 at 5:20 a.m. Tactical officer's van broken into and departmental Diamondback ballistic vest with loaded assault rifle magazines, two loaded Glock 35 magazines and Motorola radio earpiece stolen.

Unit block of Atherton Road, Nov. 10 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. Three suspects apprehended and charged in burglaries of several homes after they knocked on doors to make sure no one was home. Stole items included bike and game system.

100 block of Windy Falls Way, Nov. 10, between 4 and 10:15 p.m. Clothing among items stolen from apartment.
