County says to keep uncollected trash outside, or bring it to dump

County officials said this week that as residents put out for collection large amounts of storm-related debris and spoiled foods from recent severe weather and power outages, the holiday week and hot weather combined to create delays in collections in some areas of the county.
Officials said that if materials are not picked up on a scheduled collection day, residents should leave the material out until it is collected. Continued delays during this week are expected.
County residents can also take trash, recycling and yard materials, as well as storm-related debris, to any of the county's three permanent drop-off facilities:
• The Baltimore County Resource Recovery Facility, located off Warren Road, Cockeysville, open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Eastern Sanitary Landfill Solid Waste Management Facility, 6259 Days Cover Road, White Marsh, open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
