Police arrest Baltimore man after Towson bank robbery

A Baltimore man has been arrested in the Oct. 2 robbery of a First Mariner Bank in the 1600 block of East Joppa Road, according to Baltimore County Police Tuesday morning.

Jeremiah Johnson Miller, 38, of the 900 block of Barron Avenue in Baltimore City, is charged with robbery and armed robbery. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $75,000 bail, police said.

According to police, on Oct. 2 at approximately 3:05 p.m., a man approached a teller at the First Mariner Bank and handed her a note demanding money, and after getting the cash, then fled. In a police report filed with the Towson Precinct, the suspect was described as wearing an Orioles hat and a Ravens jersey.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department Robbery Unit and FBI Violent Crimes / Bank Robbery Task Force, according to police.
